Don't you just love the smell of fresh cut Lilacs~
They are so fragrant and beautiful but last just a short couple of weeks
I always try to make the best of their short season
Lilac's are said to represent confidence, pride & youthful innocence...
Yep, I think that pretty much fits into my life. ;)
So for now, I hope you too can enjoy a lilac & if they are not in your area you can always find a lilac scented candle. =)
They may not be as pretty but they sure smell good...

ReplyDeleteOh yes...I LOVE lilacs. To me there is nothing like that wonderful scent to take me back to my Nana and Grandpa's home that was a very happy place for me. I can close my eyes and breathe it in and see my Nana's beautiful loving face. If only ours lasted longer this year. Oh well...at least we bloggers get to enjoy the season a little longer by visiting blogs like yours. Thanks so much for sharing yours with us and for bringing back happy memories.
