My short get away to Louisville, KY has been a peaceful, beautiful and fun jaunt. Driving into springtime brings a feeling of newness. I feel revived and fresh, ready to take on the world. People here just seem to have a nicer attitude than my fella Chicagoans. Everyone seems to say hello and have a good day when you cross paths. At first I am a taken back but then I find myself really enjoying this nice quaint city and their sense of community. Time to go home, much too soon. But I am thankful to have the opportunity to see other cities and this one only being 6 hours from home is one to keep on my list.
