Lil Green Guy~

I had a lil green guy feasting away on some hostas...I'm not a bug lover by all means, in fact I am just the opposite.  I am squirmy and just about scream all bloody h*** if an insect comes in close proximity to me.   But this guy caught my attention and ummm well I had to take a snapshot.  

He's cute in a grasshopper kind of a way.... =)

A Different Kind of a Beautiful Monday...

Today is a very hard day for many on the East Coast.  This year we have seen such outrageous weather and many of our loved ones have been affected by Mother Nature's forces.  

I am grateful for today as I am all days but I am also sad for my friends and family and their friends

and family on the East Coast.  What they have to wake up to today and what they have to do over the

 next however many of days to get their lives back to normal.

As beautiful as this Earth is, it never fails to remind us that she has 

the power and it is her Earth.

We must take care of her and take care of our fellow friends. 

Hundreds of people have been evacuated from their homes and thousands more 

are without power.  They need our support, so I encourage you

Love this Store...

I had to share some of the prettiness of this store...I love to go and get some good ideas not to mention I sometimes can find a good deal. 
 Not so much this time but it still just as fun!

I always find myself migrating towards blues and greens..

So soothing to my soul....like the blues and greens of the

sky and oceans...mixed with cottage style decor and I feel

like I am wrapped in my favorite blanket...

And of course when ever I visit this store I have to make a detour to 

my favorite Candy Shoppe..yummm... :)

There is nothing much better than spending a beautiful summer day

doing something that makes your heart smile....

Bird Houses~

I love Birdhouses...

They come in so many different shapes, sizes & colors. 

They are so pretty, natural and comforting to look at.  

It's so cute to see nesting materials in those lil' houses.

It makes me happy to know I gave these lil buggers a place to nest.

And...shelter from the elements...

And most of all I like to hear the birds singing...

It's a Beautiful Monday and I hope this is the start to a Beautiful Week~

Day trip to the lake...

I live very close to a cool little lake town..This summer they had local artists design sailboats that they put in different places all around town.  At the end of the summer they will be auctioned off and all proceeds will go to charity.  There are some really neat ones..here are a few that I saw while walking around today.

Neat huh?  I thought so...
